All bookings made via our site are subject to these terms and conditions and our code of conduct for attendants.
Bee Active and our respective location providers accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any person or to any vehicle, item of equipment, clothing or valuables belonging to any person either using the facilities or on the premises under this agreement to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Bee Active is a trading name of Learn and Move Ltd. All references to Bee Active, or we/us, are regarding Learn and Move Ltd.
When taking bookings, Bee Active enter into a contract with the person booking the facility only. This person is held personally responsible on behalf of any club, society or organisation for any subsequent invoices issued by Bee Active in relation to misuse of the facility.
Other people attending the facility (attendees) as a guest of the person making booking are also governed by these terms and conditions and should adhere to our Code of Conduct. The person making the booking is responsible for the attendees being aware of our Code of Conduct, and it will be displayed at each location.
Our acceptance of your booking will take place when your payment is processed, or, if earlier, when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract is formed between you and us.
All confirmed bookings will receive a booking reference number. If you are unsure at any time in the booking process as to whether your transaction has completed, you should telephone the relevant facility provider to check the status of your booking and obtain your reference number. This reference number is needed at the location to gain access to the facility.
The price of each booking will be as quoted on our site at the time the payment for your booking is processed. Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation occur Bee Active cannot accept your booking. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to treat not as a confirmed offer.
Adverse Weather Conditions
Any closures due to adverse weather conditions will be notified on our website and social media channels. If the facilities are already in use at the point of closure, any instructions given by our on-site representative must be followed.
We use SagePay, a third-party payment specialist who are compliant with payment card industry data security standards (PCI DSS).
We will not store your card details and once you have entered your card number into a payment page securely hosted by SagePay, all payment data is encrypted and sent to the banks for processing. Through SagePay, we have also enabled 3D Secure (Verified by Visa and SecureCode by MasterCard), this is an additional check.
When taking bookings, Bee Active enter into a contract with the person booking the facility only, and the full payment amount is expected from the person making the booking. Bee Active do not collect individual payments from people attending the facility.
We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for the debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to agreed terms.
If you have used a credit/debit card, full payment will be deducted from your card at the time of making your reservation via our site. Discounted booking offers made through online bookings cannot be cancelled and no refunds will be given. Please be aware that the credit or debit card used must be shown when arriving at the location otherwise you will not be permitted to use the facilities.
We reserve our right to cancel your booking and any future bookings with us if we are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage.
Should you wish to cancel your booking with Bee Active, you should submit this request no less than 48 hours prior to the event start time to firstname.lastname@example.org. At which point, a credit note will be issued to you for the total value of the order. Your credit can be used against any other services that Bee Active offer (valid for 12 months), alternatively a refund will be offered to you.
If you cancel your order with Bee Active within 48 hours of the booking start time, you will not be eligible for a refund but still offered a credit note that can be used against any other services that Bee Active offer (valid for 12 months).
Should you fail to notify Bee Active that you will not be attending an event prior to the start time, Bee Active will not be able to issue any compensation or reimbursement against the order.
We may cancel or amend your booking at any time, in which case we will refund your booking payment in full, however we will not be liable for any costs, expenses or losses arising from such amendment or cancellation.
Our facilities can only be used for their intended purposes unless written agreement has been received by the Bee Active management. These purposes are outlined below:
Football Pitches / Astro Pitches: Playing or coaching football.
Tennis / Netball Courts: Playing or coaching tennis or netball.
Theatres / Auditoriums: The performance of theatrical works or plays, or other performances such as musical concerts, presentations, conferences.
Conference / Hospitality Suites / ICT Suites / Classrooms: Conferences, meetings, presentations, training or education provision, or the provision of hospitality.
Drama Studio: Drama rehearsals and/or training/education.
Dance Studio: Dance rehearsals and/or training/education.
Any specific terms and conditions for each facility will be noted on the facility booking page.
License and Site Access
Bee Active and its affiliates provide their services to you subject to these terms and conditions. If you visit our booking system and/or make a booking to use our facilities you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. Bee Active controls and operates this site from its offices within the UK. The laws of England and Wales govern claims relating to including the use of, this site and materials contained.
If you choose to access from another country you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with the laws of England and Wales.
